Hindu religion contains the principles of all religions. For spiritual attainment Hindu religion is more than enough.- My religion is also Buddhism. I am a Buddhist because I am an Adwaitin (believer in non-dualism).
- During Christ’s time love was a necessity. Christ, therefore, gave more prominence to love. One should have patience like Christ.
- Advice of Mohammed Nabi is also good. During Nabhi’s life feeling of brotherhood might have been a necessity. Islam is therefore giving more prominence to brotherhood.
- Do you know the meaning of ‘Allah’? It means something that is different from this external universe. According to the standards of measurement and descriptions of this world, the entity expressed by this word is non-existent.
- Wrong knowledge gives rise to divisive tendency. This generates discriminatory and hierarchial feelings and leads to quarrels and confrontations. Such people can be reformed only by those who have immense spiritual strength and purity of the soul. Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Nabi succeeded in achieving this.
- God is pure consciousness or the embodiment of Absolute knowledge(‘chit purushan’) Who sees sans eyes, hears sans ears, feels sans skin, smells sans nose and tastes sans tongue.
- Our God is a divine ocean of enlightenment. All that perceive are the waves of that ocean.
- Those who are engaged in the activities connected with God, will always be protected by God.
- The ritual of prayer should be performed by every heart, every home . Offer prayers every day without break. Sincere and dignified worship of God, is good.
- In my opinion it is good to inscribe inside the temples the words of truth, Dharma etc. to remind the people about these.
- The ways for developing virtues like truth, Dharma etc should be informed to the people through temples.
- There is not much to learn from Vedanta. A wave is not different from the sea, similarly all that is perceived in this universe is not different from the Absolute truth. This knowledge is enough, but never forget it. Through daily practice, keep this knowledge alive and active within you .
- The essence of Vedanta discloses the wisdom to have the sense of sacrifice, courage and power of discretion to distinguish between truth and falsehood, which is essential for rendering beneficial service to the people.
- If one is aware that everything perceived is none other than oneself(own self) then there is nothing to fear. That thought or the experience is Adwaita.
- All human beings, without exception desire for happiness and contentment. All that is done materially or spiritually are meant for this objective.
- Atheism is the opinion of certain people. It never was the opinion of the entire human community.
- Denying rebirth may not be acceptable as per logic and experience.
- Human beings are of one specie(caste). That is my opinion. All human beings should live as belonging to same caste. Caste of all human beings are the same one. Difference in dress, language, country will not make any difference in caste.
- All should learn all the religions with equal interest. This will reveal that there is no essential difference in the main principles between different religions. This knowledge is the one religion propounded by me.
- All people attempt to follow any one religion, no one has two religions. In their perspective their religion is that one religion. There is no difference in opinion about this.
- Every one works for their own contentment. Religion inspires them to work for that. Therefore there is no doubt that everyone’s religion is the same.
- No religion says that the Gods are two or many. As the caste and religion are one, the God also is one.
- The difference amongst castes and religions should end. The people of West and East should be able to come together. Then the mankind will become one.
- Self-knowledge is the awareness which enables one to experience and see as a witness objectively all manifestations of this universe including pride and ego.
- Bhakti is the meditation on self (Atma) incessantly.
- Devotion is the love for the Creator,Lord Almighty, for mother, father and Guru , love of incarnations who direct people in the correct path in life, prevent them from forbidden activities, and lead them to virtue and righteousness.
- Devotion and pride do not go together. One should have Devotion and faith. Faith will give benefits.
- Mind should be controlled from its usual activities and be directed to join the self . This union is known as yoga.
- From among the crores of actions one should recognize his Dharma. All thoughts , actions and advices should be based on that Dharma.
- The world is working according to its own Dharma. Helping the people are the main Dharma of a man. If one lives following his own Dharma he will not be afraid of anyone.
- Non-violence, truthfulness, non-covetousness, non-adultry and abstinence from intoxicants are summarily defined as pancha dharma or five cardinal principles of righteousness.
- Cleanliness and purity of body, words, mind, senses and home are the Pancha shuddhies to be observed by human beings.
- The attractiveness, clarity, sweetness, transparency, appropriateness and harmony are the qualities of words. In order to avoid causing unhappiness to others, our words should be conditioned to please others with truth, endearments, and the reading and recitation of spiritual books.
- Ahimsa (Non-violence) is not harming the body, life or mind of any living beings either by thoughts, words or deeds.
- Animal sacrifice involves two moral errors. The first one is the Killing of an animal for one who does not eat meat. Second, eating the flesh.
- It is better to stop killing of animals out of our own conviction, rather than on the advice of other learned men.
- Any activity of a person should be based on non-violence.
- If any one of sense organs is excessively indulging in bad subjects, the intelligence also will deflect from the right path causing destruction.
- The wise person should control his senses at the proper time. If the fickle mind goes after attractive subjects, it has to be stopped by force. Without that control, no one can achieve nobility.
- Persons who achieve wisdom through continuous celibacy, deserve to become leaders, in the eyes of the people.
- Cohabitation should benefit both boys and girls. If it degenerate to the worldly plane to become harmfull to both they have to be segregated.
- Don’t think that marriage is an action for pleasure and comfort in this worldly life. The one who opts for wedded life, should think very carefully, before getting married.
- If one marries without the consent of his Guru and parents as per his own wish he deviates from the path of Dharma(righteousness).
- Compatibility in matters of education, wealth, age, physique, behaviour and mutual love are the strong bondage for a good married life.
- The parents of bride and bridegroom should bring them at public place and arrange a meeting between them for conversation at least a month in advance. Those decide to marry out of mutual love need not have this. After meeting each other, at least a period of fifteen days should be given to them to decide and only thereafter marriage is to be decided.
- Dealing in dowry is condemned by good people. Offering and accepting dowry is like selling and buying our children.
- Those who are suffering from leprosy, tuberculosis, asthma, heart disease, poverty etc should not marry.
- Where husband and wife are living in constant love and faith such place will become sacred and prosperous. Health check up is inevitable in order to have healthy children.
- Never do anything that may damage the faith and love between the husband and wife. Differences if any should be corrected by mutual discussion. One should understand that this is their Dharma.
- The home in which the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law do not agree with each other, though rich and prosperous, will not have the blessings of God.
- Tell truth and practice Dharma and learn lessons every day. While learning be attentive to Guru’s words with attention and watch his face.
- Celibacy definitely helps education. Moderate sleep, controlled food, simple dress, cryptic conversation etc are the qualities of a celibate
- Liquor is poison – do not make it , do not sell it and do not drink it . Liquor distorts the brain. Therefore, none shall drink liquor.
- A drunkard is derided by his wife and children, parents and siblings, and even God. Therefore liquor should be given up.
- The body, cloths, house etc of a toddy tapper stinks, and whatever he touches also stinks.
- The toddy tapping is a chronic disease. As leprosy spreads to the entire body and destroys the person toddy tapping destroys the entire community.
- The earnings from liquor business are impious. The wealth earned by destroying so many lives will not be everlasting with him or his family. It is sin. Such people are sinners and cruel.
- Toddy tapping breeds evil and not good. Though it earns lots of money to build castles, the castles will not last, they will be ruined.
- Looking at women other than one’s wife with lust, intentions, flirting with them or maintaining dishonorable relations with them, amorously chatting with them, are considered adultery.
- Adultery will ruin one’s status, honor, wealth, knowledge, traditions, ancestry and own life. Those who desire to be happy in this world and the heaven should not indulge in adultery.
- Wherever or whenever there is scope, try to plant trees. should be planted whenever possible. It will give shade as well as fruits.
- The nation that claims to be concerned for the betterment of man prevents a leprosy patient who tries to suicide due to unbearable agony and pain on humanitarian grounds. At the same time it decides to wipe out an whole populace for the sake of religion or for the societal advantage.
- Spending too much of money for the construction of a house is not the sign of wisdom.
- The purpose of a public speech is not destruction of the opposite or enraging them. Instead, the purpose is to know and to make known. No speaker should speak to the people on a subject which he is not clear to himself.
- The speeches should not be offensive or enraging in diction or tone. A speech is meant to unite people, not to divide them.
- Never imitate anyone or anything blindly.
- Any law should be suitably reformed as per the requirements of time.
- People should be convinced that no injustice but only justice will prevail. Then all will support such administration.
- Why should people create division and fight? It is meaningless. People should learn that quarrel will end in destruction. Once realizes this, he becomes peaceful.
- The officialdom teaches the common man to lie. In the absence of bureaucrats people would subsist without hypocrisy.
- Do not argue for the sake of argument. One should argue for eliminating doubts and for enlightening the essence of philosophy. Sticking to one’s opinion as the only truth is nothing but ego.
- The axiomatic style of ancient Indian drawings does not support easy shading. It had purer concepts and standards. Shadings are a sort of hypocrisy which cannot be easily accepted.
- Cultivation is a must. Agriculture is the backbone of all beings; it is the life of the humankind.
- The physical condition and the nature of disease will be different which will have to be carefully examined. It is not necessary that the same disease can be cured by the same medicine always. That is why different medicines are prescribed for the same disease.
- A hygienic way of life should be practiced as a tradition. Body and mind should be kept clean. Pretense of cleanliness is not enough. Our dwelling place should be kept clean always starting with kitchen.
- Sacrificing is essential for all. Pupils should be taught to practice sacrifice in schools. Sacrifice is required, then the action will accurate and courage will develop. No one then fears even death. Those who sacriifice will never have fear of death. They are the real human beings.
- Our aim should be removal of the miseries of people. Worshipping of God is possible only through the service of mankind. Workers should have sincerity. Then changes will happen soon.
